Soul breaker was started after David (the vocalist) and Robert (the guitarist) had become heavily into rock music and wanted to start a band. As the desire to be involved in music grew they began writing lyrics about various life experiences and politics. The lyrics regarding politics were written by Robert through his inspiration gained from studying Government and Politics it at his 6th form.
After a few songs had been written they both decided to join and try and make music-try being the operative word! After we got a few songs together we recorded some demos on tape which needed a lot of work!
After deciding to try and find a drummer and bassist they eventually found both. The Bassist (Vicky) and the drummer (Paul) were known only by David, from a church in hackney.
